The Assam Babu Asoni Scheme is a welfare initiative of the Government of Assam under the Higher Education Department. The scheme aims to provide monthly financial assistance to eligible male students pursuing higher education, ensuring continuity of studies and reducing dropout rates.

The primary objective of the Assam Babu Asoni Scheme is to support students from economically weaker backgrounds by providing regular financial aid. This assistance helps students meet basic educational expenses and encourages regular class attendance.

• Postgraduate students: ₹2,000 per month
